Help Wanted for a New Website!
We’re looking for a few freelance photographers / digital-camera savvy bloggers in the US, Canada and Europe to bring their unique skills to our new website www.bikingculture.com (currently under construction). The site is dedicated to casual biking / bike commuting with emphasis on biking in style, and we need photos of Stylish, Cool, Sexy people riding bikes, young or older, men or women, couples, front view or even from the back, or whatever attracts your imagination, as long as it’s cool. They can pose for photographs intentionally or you can just snap them on the streets. We require some brief description attached with the photos, like where the shoot was taken (street, city) and why you think it’s an interesting shoot, or maybe what they wear or some interesting details about their bikes.

This is a part-time, freelance position (1-2 photo submittals per day) and it’s great if your other gigs plug you into the photography work in some way. Get paid per photograph.

Maybe you’re passionate about bike commuting and want to share your inspirations with a biking-centric community? Maybe you just want a place to show off your photo skills? If this is you, then send us 3 of your sample shoots or provide a link to your photo gallery.

REQUIREMENTS

• excellent camera skills and a good eye for cool images
• a strong sense of style

For the 3 sample shoots, we would prefer photos of people biking.
We want to be wowed with your unique awesome pictures! Please remember, this is not about sports riding, but about casual European style biking on slow moving Dutch style bikes, fixies or road bikes, pretty bikes with baskets, pannier bags, and even utility bikes. So please do not send racing, BMX, mountain or similar photos.
