According to the designers, “The collective imagination of a shower head is a large circle, a large pan from which magically comes out the water. A few days ago we’ve seen an interesting bathroom shower concept meant to help us recycle unused water and today we have a similar eco-friendly bathroom design that’s supposed to recycle all that bathroom water you use in your bathroom. The Aquabox bath system is actually a complex bath unit that will help you recycle and purify the water you use during your showers or while you wash your hands. The “wasted” water gets purified and then stored into an 80-liter tank and you can further use the same water to flush your toilet and even water your flowers. One of a kind houses are becoming more and more expressive and impressive. For example, this next home is an artistic version of a comfortable house, but it also has the feel of an extremely personalized architecture and exterior design. The Modernist House situated on Ledgewood Drive in the east Hollywood canyons is very different from other houses listed by Rose and Chang. It is a single family home, with a 2,490 square foot building site on a 7,650 sq foot lot. The bold modern residence features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living and dining rooms, and a kitchen with pro-style appliances. Every corner of the house seems to have its own story to tell. A large open area lies at the base of the house, complete with huge windows that let the sun in and soften the walls painted in black. Bricks are combined with glass, wood and concrete to create a unique home with an unusual architecture. Althoug the home has some weird things about it, I bet you can find your own favourite thing in this house.

The Quarantacinque (Forty-five) single-lever mixer features crisp, clean lines, simple squared edges and a characteristic 45-degree angle for which this unique faucet is named. This unusual visitor’s center was designed by architect Nuno Ribeiro Lopes and is actually a make-over of the old existing building with the same purpose in Graciosa Island, Portugal. It is in this modern looking building that travelers get information about the sulfur cavern in the area. Built above the water and surrounded by natural craters, this glass construction is truly spectacular. The visitor’s center has a total of two levels. The bottom one seems buried in the ground and houses the bathrooms and an exhibition area, while the second floor accommodates a wonderful spot for observing the landscape. We like the fact that the construction looks modern, but not too flashy and that functionality was the key factor when rebuilding this center. What do you think?
