Studioart is a company in Italy specialized in leather design. Their works are truly impressive and we would like to present a few of their latest collections today. It is hard to imagine that these amazing wall ideas in the pictures below are soft and cuddly. When we first saw them we thought that these were tiles like any others, made from sand stone. We were wrong. Pieces of leather are combined with other types of shiny or mate materials in order to create beautiful and innovative patterns. The color palette is either peaceful or very bold, depending on the interior they will serve.  We hope we’ve given you an inspiring alternative for conventional wallpapers or for wall painting. We have a special treat for you today. We found a beautiful three room apartment with inspiring interiors and we would like to share it with you.  In the images below you will notice that light is treated with a great deal of respect. Every room has large windows so that the need for artificial lighting is minimum. The living room has a young feel, is very spacious and homey. An interesting pendant lamp is the focal point of this interior and also the item that makes it stand out. The kitchen has an interesting color choice, it features appliances in stainless steel and a lot of storage space. This beautiful and unusual house was created by architect Tetsuya Nakazono from  Naf Architect & Design and is located in Hiroshima, Japan. The residence has a total living surface of 172, 55 square meters and it has three floors. The black cedar  material was chosen because the construction was built in a traditional Japanese area, with similar cedar projects and even cedar sake distilleries. The first level houses an entrance hall, the master bedroom, the tatami room and a bathroom. An elegant spiral staircase leads to the upper floors. As you start going up, a semi-opened space follows. We really like this concept as it offers a place where you have an unobstructed panoramic view of the surroundings. This is also a great place for a terrace. A stream runs through the center of Seoul, dividing the city into North and South, but for three decades it was totally buried beneath a busy downtown highway. In 2003, as part of a vast urban renewal project, the highway was removed and the stream was recovered and turned into a beautiful 5.8 km urban park. Demolishing roads in favor of urban parks is is a development project we can really get behind.

These beautiful play beds reminding of childhood fairy tales come from PoshTots and are meant to stir up the imagination of young ladies and cause them a delightful transition into dream land. With great designs, amazing graphics, the mini-castles  feature classic story elements but also practical parts, such as shelving systems and other types of storage spaces.  These are unconventional ways of decorating children’s rooms. For little girls, having their own private castle is probably their biggest wish. However, the prices for these designs are really steamy, some of these beds costing over $20,000, which makes us reevaluate the latter sentence and advice parents to come up with alternative ways of stimulating creativity and imagination. -via DecoActual

This small, but stylish home is located on the California shores, close to the beach and is meant for weekend gateways. The exterior, a modest but great looking building, with a metal roof and countryside feel creates an impression on the interior as well.  Tall, white walls,  plank floors and open ceilings really do great in optimizing the space. Wood is preset everywhere, giving a rustic and classic touch. The two bedrooms feature king-size beds and spacious wardrobes.
