What better place to introduce some classical romance to your home than in the bedroom? This modern interpretation of old world bedroom furniture by Cinova Busnelli brings a bit of the past into the present, with its embellished, tufted headboard and handmade with soft, sensual folds falling dramatically from the headboard and frame, right down to the floor. Choose from leather or woven-fabric draping, which is removable. Beneath its lush, plush dressing this dreamy bed is made of plywood and particleboard, and padded with polyurethane foam (CFC-free) and 100 per cent polyester fiber. When we first saw these images, we were sure they were the pictures of a private small home and we instantly fell for the simple design and location. But it turns out the project is actually a garden studio. Designed by in.it studios in UK, these cozy places of retreat are eco-friendly and highly customizable. Here is more information from the architects: “The high-end contemporary design is unrivaled through its unique frameless windows and doors and carefully considered structure.  Cedar clad Bi-folding doors glide to the side of the studio to open up the front elevation and bring the outside in.  Above the doors sits an attractive overhanging cantilevered roof which features eco-friendly Green Sedum ‘living’ plants.  A Sedum Blanket is more attractive than a typical felt roof and helps to introduce greenery into what is typically a Garden environment. Sustainably sourced FSC and PEFC timber ensures that the building’s materials are from well managed forests.” We really like the idea of having your own private getaway right in your back yard. Keith Moore created for Pilot Design a collection of beautiful, modern clocks that can be purchased from Etsy. Often using bamboo or other sustainable materials, Keith Moore has been building modern furniture for almost 10 years. The collection gathers round and square clocks, but also clocks with a beautiful coloured pendulum.  The clocks are made from MDF and some of them have colourful laminates in red, blue, green bamboo, Kona, Kentucky Craftwood etc. Beautifully crafted, the clocks come in two dimensions: 10” and 22”.

The Honeycomb clock has an unusual patterned lattice design that casts beautiful shadows on the wall and creates a sophisticated contrast on a dark wall. The Cornell Dark Modern Clock, for example, is made from a Kona pattern laminate with silver metallic numbers. The red hands are bright enough to pop out and tell the time. Some of the clocks have cutout patterns while others symbolise the natural transition of day into night with the help of vinyl. Moore`s love for typography led him to adorn some of the wall clocks with contemporary vinyl numbers that stand out on any of your home`s walls. A gear-shaped clock is definitely one of the most beautiful in the collection and will surely decorate the walls of your home with a surprising visual detail.

The Helios chair in the image below is not just a simple chair. It also hides lighting capabilities and can act as a table whenever that’s required. The Helios concept is the kind of furniture that your small bedroom would require. It has a simple design and it will definitely match with the rest of your bedroom furniture. Personally I’d probably use it as a table/nightstand and as a lamp rather than a chair. After all if I want to do any seating in the bedroom I expect the bad to act as an improvised chair.
