Revenge Of The G-Spot Mouse

8 Mar

Its International Women’s Day and its befitting that I confuse you guys with Andy Kurovets’ Maze Of Time. There is a connection between the two… you had fun at the expense of the female anatomy and now it’s time to pay for those silly smirks! The Maze Of Time watch uses colors in a kaleidoscopic way to represent the time. So when you see a chaotic yellow line below, it’s actually the number “1”. Blue is the number “2”, red color stands for “3”, and “4” corresponds to the green etc. Kinda TokyoFlash-esque and time to get your grey cells working!

Fresh and Playful Interiors : Up For Some Color?

2 Mar

No matter how doll and common a room is, adding some color could do wonders. Today we would like to display a selection of fresh and playful interiors that could really turn a place around in a positive way. Green, purple, strong blue and fresh green, they are all there. Normally, this association of colors is not very recommended. They are all very powerful, which means that mixing them could easily lead to a poor design. Fortunately this is not the case in the pictures below. These interiors are cool and full of life. Alongside the nasty but tasteful color association there are plenty of appealing decorating items which we hope will inspire you.-via Deco Fabulous

The Springtime Chair by Frank Winnubst

23 Feb

The Springtime Chair by Frank Winnubst

The days when chairs used to be made up of wood and four legs are long gone. Contemporary furniture sums up a lot of unusual ideas and The Springtime Chair by Frank Winnubst is one of them. The designer decided to use strings instead of legs and wood and created this original sitting item. “Springtime” is said to quite comfortable due to this design and a particular characteristic ensures a good repose as well: the last layer of springs is covered by knit material. We like how there are many colors involved there and that this fact brings a joyful factor to the product, We would like it even more if the whole chair was covered, but that is probably hard to put to practice.- via Design Milk

Luxurious Armchair: R15 From Redo Studio

Luxurious Armchair: R15 From Redo Studio

We’ve shown you all sorts of chairs here on Freshome, most of them quite unusual; today we bring you this luxurious armchair from Redo Studio. It is called “R 15″, a name that is similar to what you’ve probably come across in the plane industry or Formula 1 cars. You have to admit the shape is quite aerodynamic and it could easily direct one to think that way. A little flashy, the R15 luxurious armchair could fit well in ultra-modern apartments that have a lot of available space. The product comes in a variety of colors, so it is easy to integrate it in almost any environment. It looks pretty comfortable,  perhaps some people could even take long naps in it just like they would on an inflatable sofa. How do you like it?- via The Design Blog
