There is nothing better than a gourd lamp.  You just can’t go wrong with them!  They look great in any style interior- traditional, transitional or contemporary and they come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.

I do have to say that my personal favorite are the colorful ones.  When a room begs for a splash of color, using even just one gourd lamp does the trick.

Sometimes the smallest of details could determine the overall look of a room. In this particular case, we are referring to pillows and their strong design effect. Whether they are placed on the couch in the living-room or in your bedroom, they could become one of the central pieces of that interior with a little patience in choosing the suited ones for that space. We found this original cushion collection at Ferm Living and decided it would be nice to share their ideas with you. Bar codes, a parrot in a cage, the world map, weird mushrooms, these are all really fun graphics and quite unexpected when you think of the end result. But black and white are not the only colors available, as you will further notice a variety of colorful designs also. Huff Projects is an architecture company whose latest projects include this office building for R.B. Murray, which we would like to present today. Located in Springfield, Missouri, the development plans took in consideration a lot of nature energy sources, which is why at the moment this office building may be regarded as a sustainable one. This is proven by the butterfly-shaped roof, an innovative concept and structure that allows light to penetrate the conference rooms and the other offices. Due to this fact, there is a minimum need for artificial lighting during the day time. Natural ventilation and  air filtration are also some of the features of these construction. And if this was not enough, most of the material used to build the place where recycled. The interior is warm and inviting, with paintings in fresh colors, creating a positive environment for the company’s employees. What do you say, would this building act as an incentive to you?

Gautier is a design company founded in 1958. We found some really nice bedroom arrangements on their site which we hope will give you fresh decorating ideas. Most of them are simple, sober and elegant, with wooden furniture and stylish carpets to go with it. The color mix goes from mild to fresh, but the overall effect is always pleasing. You will rarely see strong colors – the green and red pillows are an exception, but with a lovely effect.  Flowers and paintings make the interiors lively and also help personalizing every room. Small details and decorative items such as bottles and tea cups really manage to make a difference. We also like the floor lamps and the night stands.  Enjoy!

How do you feel about luxurious bathroom furniture mixed up with some style and even some classic influences here and there.
