Mickey Mouse TV Stand by Pacini Cappellini

Here is another project designed by Danielle Mac Innes from Fuse Interiors, awarded ‘Best Newcomer’ at Ireland’s premier interiors show, Interior Design 2008, she has been widely recognized by the media for her fresh and unique style. This apartment was part of a new residential development situated in Dublin. The client was a large property developer and the brief was to create a unique, contemporary look that would appeal to a young market while bringing a fresh feel to the development. Fuse Interiors started with a shell and developed a strong design concept which was implemented from start to finish. The apartment has fantastic living space and now has a great individual contemporary interior style!

Scandinavian Flat in Goteburg, Sweden

In the beginning Freshome was just a small place where I’ve gathered some inspiration for an apartment that I wanted to buy in the future. Day by day I was surfing online searching and trying to find more and more ideas for that perfect apartment. As you can see today there are a lot of amazing ideas on Freshome, but what I’ve found today really blew my mind. This is not a real apartment, is just a 3D picture created by a very talented 3D Modeler from Turkey called Elftug. To be honest, now after 2 years of searching ideas, I really want to transform this idea intro reality. I don’t know if this would be possible and what kind of apartment I would need for this project, but this is really awesome …don’t you think ?

Bueth Residence designed by SPF Architects

Kirsten Gabriëls and James Webb are the guys behind the IJburg House. Located in the Netherlands, only 20 minutes of central Amsterdam, it has the similarities of a typical canal house. With a beautiful layout and a contemporary design that charms on a first glance, the 285 sqm building features a lowered level for the children, an upper level for the parents and a bufferzone or the social area, at the ground floor. With sharp edges, a large full height glass door on the facade and elegant wood furnishings, it definitely looks like the dream home for someone ready to move in Amsterdam.

IJburg House in Amsterdam

Varie Vanity designed by G. Azzarello for Porada, is what I call a killer piece of furniture. When I first saw it I’ve immediately said to myself …I want this piece of furniture, is so cool. You can use this little piece of furniture as a small office, and when you’re not using the chair you can hide it, and nobody will notice it. This idea from Porada is a great solution for small places don’t you think ?

Great Furniture Solution (Idea) for Small Places

Presented at Milan Furniture Fair 2009, Green Pockets is an innovative idea designed by Maruja Fuentes a designer from Puerto Rico. Green pockets are ceramic tiles which fuse nature with the interior space, improving both air quality and health. They attach to the wall to create the illusion as if they were actually growing from them. The tiles, made from recycled materials, serve as planters and their unique shape allows them to interlock, thereby creating different patterns depending on the vegetation planted. Planter Wall Tiles by Maruja Fuentes

Blofield is a company that offers furniture that is not just comfortable but are quite light in weight as well, because they are inflatable. I don’t expect that people will buy this “inflatable sofa” for their home, but when you go at a picnic this is awesome. They are portable, look good and  and can be taken anywhere you go. These sofas are sold in three different sizes, one person, two and three, and in three colors: green, white and dark gray.
