Hand is a French designer firm that has unleashed a set of contemporary interior designs. The collection is a mix of modern and mid-century shades, patterns and designs to create an ambient interior. Designed by Pierre Emmanuel Martin and Stéphane Garotin, the use of both pastel and vivacious colors as a combination along with print patterns, simple and elegant furniture and warm lighting, bring in a “very homely” feel to the design. Boris Novachi Bojic’s “Flip Chair”

Architect Danilo Matoso seems to have used all his craft, designing prowess and imagination when he built the Casa Nova Lima. Located in the vivacious valleys of Minas Gerias, Brazil, the home stands on an uneven terrain and to make up for this flaw, the architect came up with a very “odd” design that helps it stand using a proper weight distribution system. With not much hustle and bustle to cause disturbance to once privacy, Danilo employed broad use of glass to create both ambient and natural lighting. With spacious interiors clad in wood and lovely green wilderness all around, Casa Nova Lima looks like a natural extension of the world that surrounds it! – via

Bates Masi Architects is a name that is already pretty well known for building beautiful new homes and revamping old ones into stunning new structures. This wonderful home falls in the later category with an existing structure being turned into a cool and stylish modern home that is a merger of modern designing aspects and a few traditional elements to give it a cozy feeling. What is the most striking features is obviously the fireplace on the outside, which seems to be keeping you cool as you hang out in chilly winter nights in the little patio area! With proper use of wood glass and stone, the interiors look inviting and spacious and the addition of few hanging lamps further adds to the hue.
