The Hotel Angeleno is located in Los Angeles on the border of Brentwood next to Sunset Boulevard and the 405 Freeway. At the top of the hotel is the West Restaurant & Lounge, a great place for drinks or dinner for both hotel guests and locals, like myself. Recently, the restaurant sent out letters inviting local residents for dinner as part of a welcoming of the new menu and chef. I have frequented the West Restaurant & Lounge many times, but was looking forward to trying out the new menu and it did not disappoint!

The new menu features fresh, seasonal foods by chef Mathew Woolf (whom we had the pleasure of personally meeting!).

Chef Mathew Woolf brought us three appetizers to try! Pictured here are two of the three on the left the crispy egg over arugula and on the right the cheese plate. As for our entrees, we had the lamb and the pacific snapper everything was amazing!

I now have a “preferred guest” card which entitles me to free complimentary valet parking, discounts off food and beverage, and hotel stays. Super great value! Makes going to my local jaunt even more rewarding!
