Cathedral Made of Trash Nearly Completed
20 Jan
Not everyone can build a cathedral whenever he or she pleases but it looks like a former Spanish monk has started to build his own cathedral 50 years ago. The catch here is that he used a lot of salvaged materials and trash in order to erect it and now, half a century later, we’re looking at a nearly completed project. And that’s despite the fact the former monk never had a building permit although it would appear that he’s trying to get the right paperwork done in order to have this place of worship available to the public. The whole project is certainly daring considering that we’re looking at an eco-friendly initiative that started long before we took recycling seriously. Anyone up for a visit at this yet unnamed cathedral of trash? Via Inhabitat
