Fascinating and Luxurious: Pimalai Resort & Spa in Thailand

Freshome readers, here’s a post that we believe will raise your spirits. For today we decided to showcase this impressive resort and spa located in the beautiful Thailand. Found on adelto, the luxurious 5- star Pimalai “refuge” blends with the natural environment creating unforgettable experiences for the tourists who decide to spend their holidays here: Peace, Serenity, Solitude. These are the words that come to mind for Pimalai. Located well distant from crowded beaches and other boutique resorts on Koh Lanta (or Ko Lanta) and close to Lanta Marine National Park, the only sound is that of the waves sliding in and out and slowly breaking onto the sandy beach. Built within the rainforest as it meets the silver ocean strand, you would hardly know Pimalai was there. This boutique beach resort occupies 100 acres of tropical vegetation with direct access to a 900 meters stretch of pristine sandy beach and offers 121 accommodation units. The WhitePod Alpine Ski Resort In The Swiss Valley

If you have always fantasized living in an igloo but not really keen to brave the adversities then the WhitePod Alpine Ski Resort may just be a great alternative. Located at 1700 meters above sea level in the village of Les Cerniers in the Swiss Valley, the accommodation units are shaped like igloos but are not actually made of ice. Each cabin consists of a fireplace, a king-sized bed and a window which proovides spectacular views. The WhitePod Alpine Ski Resort is the perfect way to enjoy the Swiss Alps and a great example of eco-tourism.

The WhitePod Alpine Ski Resort is located 1700 meters above sea level in the village of Les Cerniers and consists of 15 original accommodation units in the shape of igloos. Overlooking a beautiful Swiss valley, the unusual resort combines traditional ideas with a highly modern way of living. They may look like typical homes of ice, but in fact the cabins all feature a fireplace, a king-sized bed, a wide window for unobstructed views of the valley and plenty of comfort. And if life gets tough in these small improvised igloos, the tourists can always take a short walk to a common entertaining building, where they can purchase food and drinks. The ski tracks are at walking distance and the landscape is spectacular. So in case you were looking for a way to combine eco-tourism, the beauty of the Swiss Alps and a large level of comfort, here is a solution.
